During a mountain excursion 1979 in the North of Sweden I visited a church w ith was housed uba Laplanders cone-shaped hut. The next day I found the bough at once I got the feeling of a church roof. This religious feeling never leaved the bough. Some years later the thought came to my head. One night I was awaken and went to my work-room and began to make my first religious subject. Sakral meditation-Sacramental meditation. The human being, who is formed, is as well the symbol of the Crucified. One as our manner to receive something with open arms. To the left the suject wooen balls are tied in a shape of a cross. To the right there are several shapes of arch and window. To led the light coming in we all need. And the whole is made from natural materials: wood, sisal, hemp rope and jute. Translation made by Kerstin Andersson.
